Sunny days are here again

Luckily.

I took this pic on Leipzig's North Cemetery last August.

Have a great new week.

Happy Memories for Chris and Moi: 7th post - Sunset over the Markkleeberger See

Since Chris asked me to post a few more Leipzig photos this week because she is so homesick for Leipzig, I created this post series for her. I hope this comforts you a bit.

The Markkleeberger See again. This time on a beautiful and calm evening in August. Chris and I just walked along the shore, talked and took pictures. Pure relaxation.

Happy Memories for Chris and Moi: 4th post - The Crouching Photographer

Since Chris asked me to post a few more Leipzig photos this week because she is so homesick for Leipzig, I created this post series for her. I hope this comforts you a bit.

I think this was in February 2010, I had just bought my Lomo Fisheye2 and learned how to use it. Chris and I went to the Markkleeberger See and there we took a lot of pictures. In this picture you can see Chris crouching to get a certain picture.

Happy Memories For Chris and moi: 3rd post - Bad Dürrenberg

Since Chris asked me to post a few more Leipzig photos this week because she is so homesick for Leipzig, I created this post series for her. I hope this comforts you a bit.

For the 3rd post I chose the salt refinery in Bad Dürrenberg. I didn't know it until I went there with Chris and we've had such fun. Photographing, listening to the story of the refinery and just enjoying this very day.

Happy Memories For Chris and moi: 1st post - Lollipop Trees

Since Chris asked me to post a few more Leipzig photos this week because she is so homesick for Leipzig, I created this post series for her. I hope this comforts you a bit.

This picture shows a part of Chris and my favourite bycicle round. These Sunday tours always contained the happiest moments in 2010 and 2011 for me. I would say we definitely do this when you come back to Leipzig in March, but chances are that by then I will have left Leipzig. Life is crazy.

Happy New Year!

We are wishing you and all of your loved ones a wonderful new year, full of laughter, love, fun and beautiful moments.

I know we are running a bit late, but Chris is nearly drowning in work and I had a dental surgery last week from which I recover much slower than I thought I would. So anyway, for January it's just me running this blog, but I'll do my best. ;-)

Otherworldly

A double exposure. The striations are from the scan of the positive, I think they give this picture a very special edge. At first I was annoyed when I saw this jpg, but now... It is really funny but I really like trick photographies much better than the normal ones.

Since it is December 1st, I've opened the first door to my christmas calendar. I've found a drum. What did you find?

Sanssouci details

Good Morning. Isn't it fabulous? A new week has started. With possibilities abound. Let's make the best of it.

Thankfully I'm back on late shift, therefore I have more time on my hands to get my stuff done and check out your blogs.

How was your Sunday? I enjoyed mine thoroughly. Sleeping in, taking a looong shower, dressing up and going into town to enjoy Caffe Lattes and write down the epiphanies I had this Saturday. As a matter of fact I wrote so much, that I filled up my moleskine notebook and am now switching to my red knitted cover benetton notebook that Chris gave me as an early christmas present, one week early. Awesome.

The Sunshine Fountain

Good Morning.

It's Friday and that means the weekend is only a few hours away. I don't know about you, but my Thursday was brilliant. I've got tons of stuff done and therefore my to-do-list was shrinking away like a waterlily in the Sahara. I was also quite creative, I drew several new postcards* and I took a few pics when I went for a walk during the golden hour. And I finished my day off with watching a few nice movies.

Today, I have also tons of stuff to do, a lot of it is related to San's Visual Art. In any case I wish all of you a wonderful Friday. And if you are searching for holiday gifts check out Dawanda and etsy.

"The Sunshine Fountain" is on offer in my Dawanda-Shop and will be on offer in my etsy-shop shortly.

* some of them I might offer as a set on my shops**
** Yes, I've decided to give etsy a chance.

One year ago... Can you believe it?

I took this pic on one of our Sunday bike tours. It's hard to believe that this was one year ago.

Is there something, that you can hardly believe was one year ago?

Engineers Photographic Playground - Series 2 - Finally available in my shop

Great news*: I finally have decided which pictures I will sell on my shop in what way. It's this very series. Because it is unusual and shows off my approach to photography in general and lomography in particular. What do you think? The right choice?

Enjoy your Sunday, I certainly do (sitting in my local Starbucks and sipping Café Latte).

*at least from my point of view. It took me four months to decide upon the pics. Gee, sometimes I just think to much.

Work takes its toll

Yes we are slacking, thing is I started working again two weeks ago. So when I get home I don't really want to see my MacBook anymore.

However I still wish you a wonderful new week.

This is the church in Wolkenburg. I just love my lomo fisheye, such cool picture without much work.

Man vs. nature 0:1

This is the trainstation of Wolkenburg. Last train stopped years ago.

Have a great new week everyone!

Beige and blue

March on the Darss. No fresh green grass has appeared yet. It might look warm but it was freezing. It's currently freezing in Leipzig too. 12°C or 53°F in July, what a bad joke.

Have a great new week and brave the weird weather.
